ICON ThreeForMe is a treatment in which we use the amazing ICON laser to treat three major skin concerns: sun-damaged or discolored skin, fine lines and wrinkles, and imperfections like spider veins. Rather than having you come in for multiple procedures, we can address more than one skin concern with this one treatment.
How Does ICON ThreeForMe Work?
The ThreeForMe treatment is exclusive to the Icon(TM) laser. Performed in two steps, this treatment addresses discoloration and facial vessels, including freckles, brown spots, broken blood vessels, and rosacea, using IPL during the first “pass.” The second “pass” helps to gently renew the skin by helping to generate collagen and elastin. This results in the improvement of fine lines, wrinkles, scars, and other surface imperfections.
What Does ICON Laser ThreeForMe Feel Like?
If you have ever had an ICON Laser treatment for hair removal or skin restoration, ThreeForMe is a similar sensation. Some describe it as feeling like a snapping against the skin as the light penetrates the targeted area. You may also feel some coolness from the cooling tip of the handpiece. The entire process usually takes no more than around 30 minutes.
Am I a Good Candidate for ICON Laser ThreeForMe?
ThreeForMe can help with a variety of conditions on a number of different skin types. It can improve the appearance of acne scars and conditions like rosacea, in addition to age spots, wrinkles, and similar imperfections. What Kind of Results Can I Expect?
A standard course of ThreeForMe is 1-3 treatments for best results, depending upon the severity and scope of your particular condition. There may be some minor redness and swelling immediately after the procedure, like a minor sunburn. Once the swelling goes down, usually in a day or two, you may notice immediate results, especially the diminishing of facial veins and brown spots. You may also expect progressive improvement to fine lines, wrinkles, and scars over the following six months as your newly stimulated collagen and elastin do their work.
