How Does Jeuveau Work?

What Does The Treatment Feel Like?

You will feel a slight pinch as the Jeuveau is injected into the target area. There may be some mild pain, inflammation or bleeding at the injection site, but most people experience no ill effects. There is no downtime related to receiving an injection and you should be able to resume your daily activities right away.

Am I a Good Candidate for Jeuveau?

Unless the treatment has been specifically contraindicated by your physician, you should be a good candidate for this procedure. If you have successfully used BOTOX® Cosmetic in the past, you should have no problem benefitting from Jeuveau. Since this treatment is a purified form of botulinum toxin, you may see great results even if you were not satisfied with results from BOTOX® Cosmetic in the past.

What Kind of Results Can I Expect?

You should notice a tightening of the face, with a reduction in wrinkles and smoother, younger appearance right away. Results can last several months, although you can expect them to start fading after the first month or so. You can always come in for maintenance treatments to continue the effect.
