Intense Pulsed Light (IPL)
Lumecca Peak is an advanced IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) treatment that offers short treatment times for quick effective results. This laser uses IPL to specifically target the melanin in your skin which causes discolorations. As the InMode Lumecca Peak laser handpiece moves across your skin, the special wavelength delivered by it also fades imperfections and increases collagen production.
IPL delivers wavelengths of light with some heat. There may be minimal discomfort as the light penetrates your skin; some describe it as a quick snapping sensation. We will take steps to make sure you are as comfortable as possible during the procedure, and the Lumecca Peak technology is designed with a cooling tip that ensures comfort during treatments.. The entire process of treating a targeted area usually takes no more than 30-60 minutes.
